Smart Move is an on-line source of credit and background checks operated by Transunion. It is very convenient for landlords because you don't need to be credentialed to receive the reports. Simply open an account, register your property, along with the applicants email addresses. The applicants then go to the site and fill out the application and pay the fee by credit or debit card. You then receive the report.
